I know this is mainly a pc forum but you guys have been great at helping me with my computer issues in the past so I figured I would ask anyway. My PlayStation 4 recently will only turn on every 100 or so times I hit the power button. When it actually turns on all games run fine so I'm pretty much 100% sure that there are no hardware issues with the hdd, ram, or processor. My issue is that when I try to start the system the power light will come on for a split second then it powers off. I have tried multiple power cords with the same result along with many HDMI cables. I'm pretty sure this must be a psu issue but I'm not going to buy a psu to figure out that wasn't what was wrong. And I wouldnt really like to pay Sony $200 for a $50 part. I am willing to fix it myself if anyone else could possibly confirm my psu suspicions. Thanks

Probably an issue with your Power button

Those guys

So, you're probably going to need a soldering kit and a new button that has the exact specs as your current one. If you've got steady hands and are brave enough to disassemble your PS4(If you have warranty, best not to go brave mode) then you can get it done for relatively cheaply, otherwise try calling customer service.
