Ok first attempt at overclocking my first build which is now about 5 years old. I'm running an Asus Crosshair IV, AMD Phenom 1090t Black, artic freezer xtreme 2.0 CPU cooler, 4x4GB G.Skill 1600 ram, nvidia 960 4gb. When trying to adjust cpu voltage in bios I only see CPU offset voltage. I do not have an option to switch to manual voltage. Am I missing something? Every post I can find says to switch to manual voltage and make it 1.xx I see the setting to change the ram voltage but for whatever reason cpu is offset only. Right now I have the cpu running at 4ghz and my ram at 1600. It runs runs fairly stable for photoshop and working with some larger files, but once or twice a day at seemingly random times I'll get bsod. So obviously I need to make adjustments. Are there any baseline numbers to start with for my mb, cpu, ram setup? Thanks in advance.

What BIOS revision are you running? I've got a Crosshair IV Extreme and from memory, there was an option to choose from offset or manual voltage. I'll check it more specifically in a few hours time but it should be there.

Have these Blue screen of Death(s) only been occurring after an overclock of some sort? Reset your BIOS to default settings and give the CPU a good prime95 stress test for a few hours to see how it's coping. If the blue screen occurs even with stock settings, you may have a greater issue on your hands.
