Hi everyone ..
I have a gaming PC that is shared between me and my younger brother. I have created my admin local account for myself and another local account set as "standard". the purpose of this setup is to prevent my brother from installing applications or games without my permission (I had many viruses and malwares because of him) ... however, there is a problem with some applications that should work without admin permission. for example, MSI Afterburner which is running automatically on admin account but not on standard account (if u have not signed to PC with admin account earlier). Even when I try to run it manually I still have to put the admin user to run it.
is there away I can exclude some applications from admin privileges to run by the standard user ?
