Hi,

Please excuse me for my ignorance, however I have some basic questions when it comes to RGB LEDs connected to the motherboard.

  • In RGB LED strip, is each LED in a strip made up of composition of 3 LEDs in turn, being R G B? I find that the header has 4 pins +12, G R B, so I think it must be common anode config.

Is RGB Intensity altered to get a desired pre-set color output?

If yes, what is the default color when you just power it on after connecting to the board, is it plain white?

See this Phanteks RGB LED strip (Picture source Amazon website), it has connectors at both ends? How does it work then, is powering from one end is enough or is it some sort of bi-directional?

Thanks.
