I just downloaded the windows 10 iso from Microsoft techbench. When I open it using WinRAR, I can see all files having their specific file sizes. But when I extract them, some of those files have just 0 kb. In addition, a lot of them are below install.wim file, namely from installeventres.dll to wpx.dll. Has anyone had this problem before?

Solution
try burning ISO to DVD, change bios to boot from DVD and run installer outside windows, it will probably work better.

if you don't have optical, use rufus to burn iso to USB.

if you just want to run an upgrade, create USB or DVD and then run setup

The problem with the media creation tool is that people like me who have slow and unstable internet connection will have to restart the download over and over if it was interrupted.

I tried to open the iso because I had problems running it. When I tried to open it with windows explorer, it said, "The disk image is corrupted". So I mounted it using Virtual Clone Drive. But when I ran setup.exe, it said something like spwizeng.dll cannot run in windows or is corrupted. I opened the folder to look at that file and found that it and others around it had 0 kb. So I opened the iso using WinRAR and found that those files had their sizes. But when I extracted them individually, they still came out as 0 kb. Strange...
