[SOLVED] Some games locked to 60fps on 144hz monitor.

So I just bought a new curved 144hz Samsung monitor (CRG5), and I noticed that some games are still locked to 60fps even though I've tried to enable/disable Vsync from as many places as possible.
Yes, I've set the monitor to 144hz from display settings. I use and HDMI cable which came with the monitor. It seems to support 144hz as the desktop feels WAAAAY smoother, and also SOME games I'm able to play at 144fps. For example, Destiny 2, Forza Horizon 4, WoW, GTAV.

game framerates has nothing to do with monitor refresh rates
some games have 30/60fps lock (console ports), nothing u can do about it
