Some HD videos lags n feel choppy

Hi guys.
I am facing a strange issue.
i have a mid end pc
specs
i3 3220
8gb ram
gtx 750ti

i can play most of the games n play hd vidoes but some videos lags n feels not so smooth.tried windows media player it become more choppy and on vlc there are some improvement but still not so smooth like other hd videoes . i played even 4k videoes which works fine like normal. the same video is working smooth on my mobile device which only has 720p display but not working smooth on my pc .
need your help !

yeah fully downloaded saved videos on my ssd

also run the manufacturer's health tool on your ssd

are your drivers up to date on the motherboard and gpu?

it could be a lot of things, from bad hard drive, to overheating cpu, to bad ram, to old drivers, to improper windows settings.


run memtest86 to start

hehehe only that is thing i already knw
btw i already diagnosis my pc already done memory test n gpu test though.
i build this system a month ago.
as a budget gaming pc .
even my 1yr old laptop can play those videoes.
i m getting this issue from the first day i even replaced my amd gpu with this nvidia' one but still.
everything is normal. this is real strange issue :!

maybe a codec problem try to set skip h.264 decoding loop filter to "all" or it could be some hardware problem like maxalge suggested

it works !!! but quality is low now 🙁

you need a better codec then, search around there are very good free ones

yeah try k-lite it is free and very good never had a problem with it
