Disclaimer this post will be long
So back in the day I was trying to do this portable gaming setup before the eGPU was even a product, back when we used to connect gpu to the laptop wireless thing. Anyway I gave up that time and now I am trying to go back it again.
My current setup
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x Stock Cooler
x470 MSI Enthusiast M7 "Why overkill cuz they did not have the damn carbon"
Kingston HyperX Predator RGB 16 GB (2x8) 3200 MHz DDR4
GTX Nvidia MSI 1060 3GB "Got scammed 6GB is better Thanks Nvidia"
128 GB SSD
2TB Seagate HDD
Viewsonic 144hz xg2402
Cooler Master 650W
Now in ideal world my wish was to have a cool nice laptop light and fast for my work. when I go home I would plug in a cable and I would have a nice gaming setup. Use the laptop killer CPU and ram and use my eGPU. I never game on my laptop outside my home. So even if it does not have GPU I am ok with it.
Now I think I came to the right place.
Do you guys recommend me to sell everything and get my dream setup? Could you suggest what laptop and eGPU?
or just live with it? if I should live with it should I change any part? or it is cool?

Civ 6
Rust

I started working and I want to spend my first couple salaries on getting my setup perfect. It will help me relax after work and better my life quality.
