some help with wifi please

so i have a wired connection and i want it wireless but wifi router is out of hand
so can i get a pci wifi card and install it in my pc then use the the wired connection that is connected to the pc on that wifi card so i will be like a hot spot?????
is it possible??? and if yes is there is a gulid like setting the password??

IF you are running widows 10 it is very easy.
Just go to network settings and choose mobile hotspot.
It will find your wifi device and will ask you which network you want to share. In your case that will be the ethernet network.
Im pretty sure passwords are also in that setup.

Okay but first before getting a new PCIE card you have to ensure that it supports hosted networks.
If it does then you can just use softwares like virtualrouter to share your wired connection wireless.
