I am trying to set up my first PC build but I've run into problems that I don't know how to solve.

I have a EVGA Z270 Classified K motherboard together with a Intel i7 7700k processor, 4*16GB of HyperX 2400 RAM and a 1080 TI and for memory I have a 512 GB Samsung 960 EVO PRO
My PSU is a Corsair CX 750M

I have everything plugged together, but I didn't yet try to install Windows. I was hoping when I start it up there will be something on the display. I tried to plug my display in using the onboard HDMI and the HDMI on the 1080ti. However, the display does not receive any signal. The Motherboard shows the code "AO" which as I understood it would not be too bad.

In the beginning I forgot to plug in the CPU ATX power cable. There are two connectors on the motherboard, but I only got one on the PSU. Not sure if that is the problem and not sure if that can be the problem if the motherboard shows "AO".

I am hoping you guys can give me some help on this.

Solution
Yes, the minimal build can POST and show BIOS screen.
It was a problem on some certain motherboards that would not get display via HDMI at start, but I don't think yours is one of them.

Thanks for the reply. I've done all I could from that list. I swapped ram and I only installed one of them each. I've unplugged the raphics card (does the 7700k come with integrated graphics? I've read that it does). I've checked all the other things. But I don't have the tools to fully check the PSU. And also I don't really think that this is the case as the motherboard says "AO".

I currently only have the NVME SSD. I have an old HDD which I will have to clean first, I wanted to do that later as I don't really need it yet. Do you mean trying to boot without any memory at all?

EDIT: I tried this and same result

I think I've bent it when I was trying to install the RAM :( That could very well be.

And that's pretty much all there is right now after I tested the rams and removed the graphics card and SSD. Should there be any text on the screen with only these parts?

Also I've read somewhere that I should use DVI or something first - but my Motherboard only has HDMI and Display Port, so I guess that's an old issue?
