I really enjoy seeing the the Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 is coming out swinging hard right now and hopping that will produced a price badly need today.
I am hoping with somebody, reading this article, having the connections to people and websites that can test the following configurations. Since the prices are almost the same, two lower-end HD Radeon crossfire cards vs one HD Radeon higher-end card, i am hoping the test result will be the same.
Al though some of the prices are off a bit. I gotten them from March 23 on www.newegg.ca or www.ncix.com Canada version.

1. Two (Radeon HD 7750 cards) in crossfire mode vs one (Radeon HD 7850) card.

2. Two (Radeon HD 7770 cards) in crossfire mode vs one (Radeon HD 7890) card.

3. Two (Radeon HD 7850 cards) in crossfire mode vs one (Radeon HD 7950) card.

4. Two (Radeon HD 7890 cards) in crossfire mode vs one (Radeon HD 9790) card.

Cost version: I am using the www.newegg.ca and all in Canadian Dollars

& one (Radeon HD 7950 card) XFX FX-795A-TNFC Radeon HD 7950 Core Edition 3GB $454.99

As you can see almost all the cards roughly match each other in total cost other than number 3 and number 4.
Still i would like to see the result of comparing them all together and to test against Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 card.

I wasn't aware that these cards exist.

If it's the 7870 vs the 7950 or 7970. I can tell you a bit about this. OC'ed, a 7870 will match the 7950 in most applications, and even come quite close to a 7970, keep in mind, this is with a single card.

Well sorry if i sort annoyed you with my question but i think it is a fair questions since it going to be MY money i going spend. I would like to know what is the best situation for the long run.

The total amount is before tax, shipping and handling fee. They are in Canadian dollars and i around it off to the nearest dollar.

1. Two HD Radeon 7750 cost $220.00 & one HD Radeon 7850 cost $260.00

2. Two HD Radeon 7770 cost $320.00 & one HD Radeon 7870 cost $350.00

3. Two HD Radeon 7850 cost $520.00 & one HD Radeon 7950 cost $455.00

4. Two HD Radeon 7870 cost $700.00 & one HD Radeon 7970 cost $550.00

I hope this would help DelroyMonjo since his brain is very sensitive and have a hard time understanding number and fraction.

Now you see why i want to see which one is the better deal number (1), number (2) or number (3). Number (4) is for people wanting bragging rights and money. I would love to see testing games situation which would have the best result. Two Memory Interface (256-bit) HD Radeon 7870 or ONE memory interface (384-bit) HD Radeon 7970.

um where did you get that numbers? I put down two (Radeon HD 7870) cards vs one (Radeon HD 7970)

No need to be snotty, he was making a joke that nobody is going to have all those GPUs except for the people who own these tech sites. Most of us "Addicts" and "Experts" aren't on newest gen stuff at all (i5 750 and a pair of 5850s here)

If you want to compare them, try Google and start comparing. I linked a 7750 and 7770 CF review, and there's plenty on 7850, 7870, 7950, and 7970 by now.

Going by gut feeling, a pair of 7850s will be best price/performance for ultra graphic settings (easily max out 2560x1600), a single 7850 or 7870 would be the most reasonable though as a single 7870 is already fast enough to push 1920x1080 at max settings.

you are right about the 7890 card and the 9790 card, I was typing late at night. I do apologized for that error. It should have been two Radeon HD 7870 card vs one Radeon HD 7970 card.

As for being Snotty, well it wasn't at you, it was at this person whom said: "Yeah, rrrright. I'll get my man on that first thing Monday...:)".

Well then try NOT to be snotty in the first place, I was asking if there where any test to see which would be better.

Two Radeon HD 7750 (128-bits memory) compare to one Radeon HD 7850 (256-bits) memory.

Gigabyte Radeon HD 7750 OC 880MHZ $120.00 CDN

Gigabyte Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ $280.00 CDN.

It is cheaper to get the lesser version by $40 CDN.

I not sure how to annualized the main processor speed, Same Memory bits and same ram amount

Two Radeon HD 7850 2GB (256-bits memory) compare to one Radeon HD 7950 800 mhz 3GB (384-bits) memory.

The difference between them: additional 350 MHz for the main processor (in theory), (128-bits) memory and 1 GB Ram

But that come with an added cost of $100.00 CDN more.

HIS Radeon HD 7950 800MHZ $440.00. CDN.

Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 OC 975MHZ 2GB ($270.00)*(2)= $540 CDN.

You started giving me crap and i have you double the crap back. period.

well the statement by that "person" WAS NOT A JOKE. HE was not making a joke. He was replying that my questions about the graphic wasn't not even up to his "standard" I take very personal. I DON"T like to be insulted like that and expect NOT TO reply in return.

There's more to it than core speed and memory bits. There's also some losses in using crossfire (as in, not perfect scaling) plus the hassle that sometimes accompanies getting crossfire to work.
