When i bought my new graphics card,I had someone installed it for me then i brought it home. After 2-3 hours i got back home from going outside and i connected it to my monitor. When i turned my computer on it suddenly said "no signal" in the monitor.By the way I use a Vga cable for my monitor.I connected it to my tv using an hdmi cable usually used to broadcast tv in my country. And then it works.Im just confused why my monitor says no signal when connected to my pc.Maybe i should buy an hdmi cable or a dvi.Any opinions on what's my problem?

My specs are:
CPU-AMD A8-7600
Motherboard- Asus A68HM-K
Graphics card-Galax Gtx 1050ti 4G GDDR5
Ram-8G

I dont think my graphics card bottlenecks my cpu since i tried it in my suppliers place and it works fine

Thanks alot for any help

How are you connecting a VGA cable to the graphics card?
VGA is an analog connector, it's not made for a digital signal. The 1050ti is digital only and has no analog output, it used HDMI, display port and maybe DVI....all of which are digital. So, if your monitor requires an analog signal via a VGA connector, then you need an "active" convertor that converts digital to analog.

thanks i think you just solved my problem.
Sorry but im just new to pcs man
but really thanks

Ok. I don't know how old your monitor is, but it was common for many years to have both VGA and DVI on monitors. If you do actually have a DVI port on the monitor then all you need is either a DVI to DVI (if the card has a DVI port), or a HDMI (or Display port) to DVI adaptor....this doesn't need to be active as you're not looking to covert to analog.
