CPU : intel i5 3.3Ghz
GPU : AMD Radeon R7 200 series (i think 240)
MOBO Gigabyte
RAM : 8g
PSU : Power on ps-650
Windows 10 64 bit
Connected via vga to monitor

Most of the games im running are kinda freezing (lagging),i also have tiny horizontal lines especialy while gaming.im running 1920x1080 resolution(my monitor says current res 1600x1200 but recommended settings 1920x1080)
games: batman arkham knight, tomb raider 2013

Also, once you have Crimson installed can you confirm what your BIOS settings are for your Intel HD graphics and whether you can disable it (only temporarily) as I'm wondering whether there is some conflict going on with your HD driver and Crimson?

After re-installed AMD drivers i cant access CCC to change the resolution to 1080p(there is no indicator at crimson>diplay>advanced settings>goes to CCC),monitor resolution still at 1600x1200

Changing the resolution from control panel>display>advanced settings goes up to 1600x1200 only

I have no idea how to access BIOS

Device manager>display adapter : AMD Radeon r7 200 series and Intel HD Graphics 4600

PS : I cant open Intel HD Graphics or any other Intel program

OK, are you able to go into device manager and right click on your Intel HD under display adaptors and disable it? If so, then reboot and go back through the steps to check the resolution under the display icon in control panel.

Its like your monitor is not reporting its native resolution to windows for some reason I can't fathom.

As i tried to install the v2 a window pops and says access denied and then the following :

The following displays have been detected:
Generic Non-PnP Monitor

Click Next to install the display drivers for the following displays:
HP ZR22w Wide LCD Monitor (Version 1.0.0.1).

Also my monitor is kinda blurry since i re-installed the AMD drivers

May as re-enable the Intel driver as you could test that the EDID information provided on the inf. is picked up correctly via your onboard GPU. In fact you could plug the monitor into your onboard VGA and see if the monitor is picked up as 1080p...this would confirm it is providing the correct info.

OK, so the monitor is providing the correct information (its native resolution of 1080p) to the onboard Intel HD driver - this is what the .inf file is for. What happens if you just move the cable from the onboard VGA port to the GPU port? Does the monitor adjust down to 1600 x 1200?

Given what you've said and the checks we have gone through, I can only think that there must indeed be problem with your GPU. It should pick up the monitors native resolution (as your Intel HD onboard GPU does) and the fact that it doesn't suggests there is a problem somewhere.

The only other thing I can suggest is you try to physically re-install the card (if you understand how to do this)

Basically it would mean uninstalling the Crimson driver suite, powering off you PC, taking the side off the case and removing the card, then re-installing it. Then boot up into windows and seeing if (by going into control panel then display) you can adjust the monitors resolution to 1920 x 1080.

You could also try to lay your hands on another GPU?

I did a clean uninstall with amd uninstall program (reboot) and downloaded/installed the Asus AMD Radeon r7 200 series drivers and reboot(it wasnt crimson,it was CCC)Now there is a Crimson icon down to my right next to clock which cant be opened and i cant also open CCC.

Windows settings res settings still only up to 1600x1200
