Something weird is happening..

Hi,
When I go out, I usually put my PC on Sleep.
When I come back, I turn the light on, a switch on the wall and the PC wakes up too..
I think this might be due to a bad power supply, which can't take small changes in the electricity..
Any ideas?

Best option to buy something good is to save and collect money.

Even i didn't buy my Skylake off the bat. Took me about 1 year to collect enough money to buy it, while using monitor, storage devices, ODD, speakers, KB, mouse and other little things from my old AMD build. And my Skylake build isn't even finished yet. Missing the case fans (Corsair ML series) and eyecandy (NZXT HUE+).
Getting Corsair ML fans (3x 120mm and 3x 140mm) sets me back another 165 EUR. NZXT HUE+ costs 95 EUR. Planning to get Corsair ML series fans within this month. Some more saving up and at best, i can get NZXT HUE+ somewhere in March.

Sometimes, lightswitches are wired to power all the outlets, so when you turn off the lightswitch, the outlets loose power, and then when you turn on the switch, they regain power, and the computer will boot up. Maybe this is the case...

I have yet to see a PC that has a power switch and powers up once the power current is feed to it.

If the light switch would cut the power to the PC's outlet as well, the PC won't be in sleep mode anymore but rather completely shut down. PCs need a little bit of power to maintain the sleep mode.

Never heard of Huntkey PSUs. Then again, i don't know all they crappy PSU makers.

I suggest you replace your PSU to fix your issue.

Here i suggest either Seasonic G-360 or Seasonic S12II-350. Both are good quality Tier two PSUs.
PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Difference between the two:

Seasonic S12II-350
Efficiency: 80+ Bronze
Fan bearing: Fluid dynamic bearing
Modularity: Fully wired
MTBF: 150.000 hours
Warranty: 5 years
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/s12ii-350/

Seasonic G-360
Efficiency: 80+ Gold
Fan bearing: Double ball bearing
Modularity: Semi-modular
MTBF: 150.000 hours
Warranty: 5 years
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/g-360/

S12II-350 pcpp: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/bQzZxr/seasonic-power-supply-ssr350st
G-360 pcpp: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/dTK7YJ/seasonic-power-supply-ssr360gp

If you don't mind the extra leftover cables in your PC, go with S12II-350. But if you like to have better cable management, go for G-360.

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are powered by Seasonic (specs in my sig). Got PRIME series in Skylake, M12II EVO series in Haswell and S12II series in AMD.

Good PSUs are expensive regardless of where you live.

For example, i had to hand out 53 EUR for my Seasonic S12II-520, 98 EUR for my Seasonic M12II-850 EVO and whopping 206 EUR for my Seasonic PRIME 650.
For someone who doesn't know much about PSUs, paying 4 times more just to get the extra 130W would be insane. But for the one who knows exactly what he gets for his money, paying 206 euros for a best 650W PSU in the world at current date, is money well spent.

Not sure that you like your crappy PSU then when it fries your entire system, despite it's positive side effect.
Getting good PSU does cost less than replacing the entire system.

Checked your 2nd topic and the 2 stores as well.

Found Antec Edge series PSU (550W). It's solid Tier two PSU and uses Seasonic platform. 80+ Gold and fully modular.

5535 Macedonian Denars in Euros at current date is what? 89,89 EUR?

Checked my local store and i can get the very same PSU for 119,90 EUR.

What happens when you turn switch off? Another explanation is that when you walk, your floor vibrates and your desk vibrates, and your mouse moves and computer wakes up. My computer wakes up several times per night on its own for no reason- this is normal- it done it for years. It often wakes up if I am near by.

@Aeacus That is true, as I said, there are a few good ones, but they're expensive.
What I meant to say was, there's no S12II for $50 or 500B for $40.
The thing is, that in my country, most people work for 200Euro monthly.
When you reduce 1000 by 100, it's 900, still a lot.
When you reduce 200 by 100, it's 100, still too little.
@Astralv Nothing, the PC continues to work. Even when asleep, it doesn't wake up when I turn the switch off, only when I turn it on.
You think it's from the slight vibrations from me entering the room?
