Something's downloading in the background

I use DU Meter to show my realtime download/upload speeds on the taskbar.
This morning, I noticed something's downloading in the background. I have no downloads running on any browser, IDM and I've completely disabled Windows Update.

Taskmanager showed a spike in the Network tab but I couldn't find the process responsible. I also noticed a 3GB free space reduction on my C drive.

Your Network display order in your picture is in ascending order. If you click on the Network column header again it will be in descending order of usage and would have shown the task that has the most network usage first/at the top.

Sorry but I checked it both ways. Nothing shows up

Task manager is not a reliable program to track network usage. Use a 3rd party software.

DUMeter can also show you which programs are sending and receiving through your network connection.

DU Meter is showing svchost.exe downloaded most data today.

svchost.exe is a system process meaning it is essential process to for windows to run smoothly.
