Sometimes there is no sound when i connect my laptop to tv via Hdmi. When i restart the laptop sound is detected

Hi

When i connect my laptop to my tv i get the display but the sound is not detected(only through the laptop) and cant see the tv sound option in the sound settings. When i restart the laptop everything works fine. Also tried disconnecting hdmi and connect it again but no luck

Is there a way to detect the sound without restarting the laptop?

Probably the sound drivers. Right-click the start button and select 'Device Manager'. Have a look under the sound category. What do you see?

Checked before and after restarting but there is no changes in device manager under sound
Under sound category its my wireless headphones drivers, CyberLink WebCam virtual driver, Realtek High Definition Audio and Display audio Intel(R)

I think it might be the Display audio Intel(R). Try updating the drivers for this - click the icon with the green arrow next to it. Did you do this when it was plugged into the TV?
