ok, their is someone around my house who has a unsecure connection.... when i shut off my laptop it takes forever for my laptop to get it back but if i just close it then i get i it back in a flash.... is their any truth or like common reasoning for that or is that unusual or what

It's not clear what you are talking about. What takes forever or alternatively gets back in a flash ? Are you talking about using someone else's unsecured wireless connection ?
