Hi, I have a problem with Sony Alpha 7 III DSLR Camera on Windows 11. I've connected my DSLR and set up the Imaging Edge app, I can see what the camera is capturing, everything seems to work, but when I try to use it via Zoom, Google Meet, Teams etc. it's not able to find it. Even the Camera app on Windows is showing that there's no camera connected. I've tried everything, reset, update drivers, Windows update and nothing works. I'm starting to loose my mind. Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks for response in advance, Juan.

Solution
Which imaging Edge app did you install? Be sure you install imaging Edge webcam. The other app imaging Edge desktop won´t be the correct one. If you installed the webcam app already, install the desktop app as well.

How does windows recognize it?
Can you see it in the device manager? Try updating the driver by right clicking -> update

try a different USB cable
try it on a different PC/laptop

Did you set camera to the correct settings as well?

set the camera´s usb connection to PC-remote (don´t know the correct wording though)

if this won´t work, update the firmware of camera as well
I've set everything according to the manual on Sony's website: turned off Control via Smartphone, set USB connection to PC Remote, even checked the firmware and it's the latest (4.01). Any other idea what could cause the problem?

Thanks man, seems like I'm completely dumb. I haven't installed the Webcam part of the software so it couldn't have worked at all. Thank you again and please pardon my brain.
