To make a decission and to buy some cool looking SONY laptop computers for our company turned out to be the worst decission we took in this field for long. At the moment the damn thing was broken our trauma started. SONY operates with only one customer support center for the whole of Europe. The only way to reach them is by phone and you are only connected to a low IQ call-center. What starts afterwards is that a courier picks up the computer and perhaps 10 - 14 days later you get it back - of course back without all your important files!!! That is already horrible enough and should not happen with a top Company like SONY. But what we experienced was even worse:
After 4 month we got our computer back, in between we tried several times to contact same without any success (once they could not find the computer the next time the server was down....).
You might think those things can happen once but similar things happend with other SONY computers in our office as well.
I really remeber back the good old days with the Toshiba Service in TOWN and in 48hours back.
But obviously we misunderstood their slogan "It's a SONY"
