Hi
I'm looking for a new camera and have pretty much decided on the Sony
DSC-W1, but I've now seen that they make several other very similar
versions: The W12, W5 and W7. I know the W7 has a 7-megapixel CCD, but
does anyone know what the differences are between the W1 and the other two?

Hi,
As far as I know W12 is the black version of W1 (it is otherwise
identical). W5 is also a 5 megapixel unit but with 32MB built-in
memory. Sony's site does not have DSC-W1 available for sale so
apparently W5 has already replaced W1.

Thanks! That's very useful. I'm off to the shops then...
