Exactly. Even a pyramid-shaped console would have made it stack-proof. They should really consider these things.

I hate to say it but I prefer xbox1...LOL (and I'm a MS hater...ROFL). I see no benefit to the funky shape for cooling or noise but maybe it's better. Straight edges look cleaner and take up less room but maybe they designed it that way so things would be forced further away? More room around it for cooling? You can't really back it to a wall and block airflow. So maybe it's a smart design...LOL.

What is going on!?!?!? The X1 looks like an old high end 1990's AV receiver, and now the PS4 looks like some 1980's IBM computer, and the new Mac Pro looks like an alien trash can. Where did everything go wrong!?!?!
