[citation][nom]getreal[/nom]Hasn't iOS / iPad / iPhone / Mac OS made all of these other platforms totally irrelevant and obsolete already? Why would I buy a vita, when my iPhone or iPad is much better, smaller, and is more functional? Why would I dump a ton into a windows PC just to get 5 extra fps in a game my Mac Pro already gets 200+ in? Steam and Valve games coming to Mac basically defeats needing a cheap PC. Plus most good games are on consoles that just pop in and work. No need to configure anything. More time playing, less time jacking around, more time to go out and party and get laid.[/citation]
I completely agree with you that the iPhone is more flexible than a PS Vita.
However your commentary about your mac pro doesn't make sense. First, you don't define what's cheap for you. For me is below $700, for you could be a $1000. A
cheap PC WILL NOT get you 200+ FPS on current games, a
cheap PC is going to have a
cheap processor, graphics, not much RAM, etc. Now, for the price of a mac pro (from $2499, and there is the link:
http://store.apple.com/us_smb_78313/configure/MD770LL/A )well, you can pretty much get a very high end PC with probably SLI, the best intel core I7, etc. that that will give you well over 200+ on lots of games (besides metro 2033). Also keep in mind that depending of the resoultion you play the game, frame rates are going to vary, please don't misinform the reader. Thank you
