[citation][nom]getreal[/nom]Hasn't iOS / iPad / iPhone / Mac OS made all of these other platforms totally irrelevant and obsolete already? Why would I buy a vita, when my iPhone or iPad is much better, smaller, and is more functional? Why would I dump a ton into a windows PC just to get 5 extra fps in a game my Mac Pro already gets 200+ in? Steam and Valve games coming to Mac basically defeats needing a cheap PC. Plus most good games are on consoles that just pop in and work. No need to configure anything. More time playing, less time jacking around, more time to go out and party and get laid.[/citation]

I have a feeling this guy's a troll...judging by his name...but I can't help but see how stupid he still is for making this comment.

In no way shape or form is the iphone/ipad BETTER at gaming than the PS Vita. Of course the iphone/ipad have way more games to play though and have more functions. Also, Mac's use the SAME parts as PC's, but at 2x the cost (unless we're talking mba vs ultrabook...then its only 1.0-1.5x the cost). A mac is only a mac because of its OS and aesthetics. That's it. If you want your 200+ fps in games (I mean graphically high quality games, not plants vs zombies or something), please don't buy a mbp. You won't even be able to display 200+ fps on it anyways.

You guys do realize this is a joke right. No one can be this stupid!

anyone buying a idevice ISNT getting laid, or partying. he's sitting at his house feeling superior, while the rest of the world looks at him with a lopsided smile on their face, silently laughing at his stupidity.

200fps? on a 5770? i don't think so buddy...

I agree, the lack of games are killing sales. A price drop would help as well, but that would be difficult considering the hardware in it. I had the original PSP and I used it more as a video and music player. About the only game I played was GTA Liberty City Stories. Now that my phone does that, and no games that really spark my interest, along with the way over priced proprietary storage, the PS Vita doesn't make much sense. Maybe if they had some sort of GTA IV spinoff...

Gamers: It's Too Early to Buy the PS Vta

Sony: What we need is value-adding bundles!
Gamers: What we need is games worth buying the Vita for!

Dear Sony,

Listen to your customers. It worked for Nintendo. It can work for you.

Love,

Potential Customer

Even with it's ability to play PSP games, the game selection is much better for the Vita than any of the fremium, shovelware, or kiddie crap on the iThings. However, 3DS, that is where Sony needs to self-educate from.

Killer IP is the way to go sony. They have a real problem of creating great ip with legs, and then dropping it a couple of years down the line. You never see nintendo doing that. Kirby being a point to raise, from being a fairly unknown series of games, and now as a character he's almost a recognisable as mario and luigi.

Hmmm has he ever been in mario kart though?

I went to a Sony store that was closing recently and they had the Vita on clearance for 25% off, and people STILL were not buying them. I heard they had to sell them at 40% off to get rid of them.

almost a year sense the last post....

yea, they will. though it may not be at launch. you dont want to make people think you need one and inflate the cost.
