Sony Killing Off Floppy Disk Production in 2011

It's still easier to make a bootable floppy than it is a bootable USB flash drive. Some things never improve.

He's talking about Windows XP, which requires you either slipstream the driver (a big pain) or haul out the floppy drive (a small pain).

I thought they would have already created a floppy disk out of silicon chips, fitting in a Floppy Disk Station, but based on another technology much faster than the original floppies...
