sony tv for gaming?

i'm trying to find a suitable 1080p sony tv for gaming with my gtx 970. anyone experienced with gaming with sony tv, please help. which kind of display port shoild i look for? display port 1.2? HDMI? i have no experience with tvs.

I don't think my bravia has a display port, so better get a 1.4 hdmi cable and you should be fine. also I play games in my sony bravia. there isn't any difference between a monitor and a tv.

which model you are using? do u notice any lag or something? the internet is full of complaints about hdtv gaming. tell me your experience
