Question Sony VAIO SVF13N13CXB keyboard replacement

I need to replace the keyboard on my Sony VAIO SVF13N13CXB. It's an old machine but I bought it new and really like it. It's not worth what a local repairman will charge but I'm not sure if I can do it myself. I've found teardown videos but they don't show keyboard replacement. Can anyone help?

From what I can tell with Google image searches;

the keyboard is either held into the palmrest with tape or they're plastic welded into the palmrest. The latter would need you to remove/snap off the plastic welds off to replace the keyboard.

IMHO, if you're unsure of what to do, don't make a mess of things and have the person who will replace the keyboard for you.

The keyboard is not separately replaceable. You have to replace the entire assembly of keyboard, trackpad & cover.
