Soo, gaming on low res

So, my GTX 660 has conveniently kicked the bucket and to RMA it off to Munich will be costing upwards of 150. So I was wondering if it worth sending it off when I can just get a new card (One that has an RMA centre in the uk) for about the same time.

I am on the lovely 1366x768 resoultion, so my I shouldn't need that powerful a card to get good settings.

What you lovely people could help me with, is if I should buy a 660 again. Or a different card, was looking at the 7870 or 7950 if lucky =p

At that resolution even a 7850 would be able to play all games with high settings. Go for the 7870 if you must have some excess horsepower.

What are your full specs?

GTX660 SC (subsequent to change)

Coolermaster gx650

Hopefully scan will be able to RMA my card for considerably less

Is the card just not working? There might be something else in your computer not working correctly.

Scan returns cost nothing, they send a courier out to you to collect it, then they post it back to you.
