SoU, saving Mara in the tavern

I've already used up all the Persuade options when speaking to the
kobold, and I saved my game so I can't go back to them. All I'm left
with now is the option to help the kobolds escape. Is there any way I
can save Mara now, or is she just destined to die unless I come back
much later and kill all the kobolds in one shot?

Let the Kobolds go, it is not worth it.

I don't know what class you are. I used sleep on them.

I'm a ranger, but I've gotten well past that point now. She died in the
ensuing battle, which saddens me, but I am neutral and I care more about
animals than humans, so it's ok.
