Hi,
For a while now, at least once a day, my sound just drops completely (without having any direct cause I can observe, most of the time, my computer just plays music and out of nowhere the sound stops). Everytime it does, if I try to deactivate the driver in "Playback devices" to reset it, the "Playback devices" window freezes then crashes. The only thing that fixes it is if I restart my PC. I use an external USB soundcard, and I know it's not the issue because before I had a FireWire soundcard that did the exact same thing, although more frequently. The same thing happens with my USB WiFi adapter from time to time.
Is there any fix I could try beside restarting my PC, or even better, to stop this problem from happening?
