sound bar question

Ok so I am looking for a sound bar for my living room. The layout of the room is throwing me off. It is basically a rectangle, 22x12 ft. The tv is wall mounted above the fireplace and the sofa is against the opposite wall, 12 feet away.

I am looking at the Vizio S5451w-C2 or it's smaller version, the B4. Would my sofa being against the wall Negatively impact the rear speakers? Should I get one without rear speakers? Thank you.

For 5.1, the rear speakers are actually placed on the side of the listening position between 90 and 110 degrees (with the TV at 0). If you can mount them on the side (or back) walls, or use speakers stands so they can face you it shouldn't be any problem.
