So last night after I cleaned my pc with an air canister I turned on my computer and noticed that my headset was making a weird buzzing noise. After logging into the computer I switched headsets and the sound was still there but only went away when I went to the sound in my control panel and muted it. When the sound is muted the cracking sound goes away completely but after I turn it back on the crackling static noise is there. Does anyone know any fixes or why this is happening ?
P.S. Audio is not working except for the static sound. No music, video, or games audio are working.

If you have a sound card that isn't integrated, try reseating it with the pc unplugged.

Remember to always unplug your pc before doing anything that involves opening the case.

It's an integrated sound card and I turned it off man before doing this.

Just being cautious and spreading the good word. Haha most people don't realize that if a pc is off but still connected to an outlet then it is still receiving power.

Try unistalling/reinstalling drivers.

I personally would just buy a cheap sound card but someone else on here might be able to assist you more. So don't give up hope and drop money just yet.
