sound causing black screen

i bought a new gpu Gainward GeForce gtx 1070
ever since i installed it in my computer and updated my drivers i get black screen when playing sound, it works fine when the sound a disabled but any sound causes a black screen

i tried clean install of all drivers nothing work

my spec is
Processor AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4GHZ

Motherboard ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0, Socket-AM3+ ATX, 990FX+SB950, DDR3, 4xG2-PCIe-x16, SLI/CFX, SATA 6Gb/s, USB 3.0

Video Card Gainward geforce gtx 10708gb

RAM Crucial DDR3 BallistiX 1600Mhz 16GB-Demo 4x4 GB

Corsair CX750M, 750W PSU

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit

i assume you mean the onboard sound which is realtek as i recall ?? have you got the realtek drivers not the ones on the asus site ?

its the sound that goes in the hdmi that is connected with the gpu, i disabled the nvidia sound driver and computer was running fine, when i activated it gain it cause black screen on any sound from the computer and videos on the internet, i tested running video without sound, and it worked fine

I remember this happening 6 months ago and it was intel HD4000 graphics driver conflicting with the GTX one.. thats ion the onboard graphics on a core I5
so thats not happening here as you have an AMD processor so can you look in device manager to see if there are any other graphics drivers with HDMI or sound drivers that could be conflicting ?
also have you tried a different nvidia driver? this happens a lot with Nvidia things.

there is no other drivers that are conflicting, i have yet to find a compatible driver, but can only seems to find the newest version of the drivers that i have this issue with.

in you do windows + break, then device manager, and find the device in sound, and right mouse, and properties, and then driver tab, can you rollback the driver?

for now i have tried three different version of the driver, but with same result

i found the problem, i guess the hdmi was not supported by the gpu i tried another of the same one but with same problem, i tried with another kind of hdmi and the sound is working now with no black screen ^^

never mind, the sound is working now, but i get black screen trying to run a video

i changed back and now it's working, wonder for how long tho, i keep you updated if i get black screen again

it worked until my screensaver went on, and now i got the same problem, i wonder if it is the psu that having a lack of power to the gpu, either way, this is the weirdest problem i have had

do you have the correct version of hdmi cable ?? im grasping at straws now lol turn off screen saver made the screen go standby instead😀

i finally located the problem, seems like uninstalling physx fixed it, thats what was causing it. somehow it didn't like running the sound on the nvidia control panel :3

it worked untill the computer turned of, i played cities skyline with the highly recomended setting in 4-5 hour untill the same issue occured, i used some sepered speakers, all day untill i got a black screen, restarted the computer and it worked, this must be some uknown issue because i dont know much else to do
