Have sound issues, this is a list of all the things i have done and still have no sound. The sound card shows in the device manager and indicates it is working properly.
-done all troubleshooting tips from creative.com
-have tried 2 sets of speakers and 2 headsets
-checked to see if the cable was in the correct audio out port
-checked in the bios to see if the on board audio was disabled
-downloaded the latest drivers from creative and installed them
-checked to see if the sound card was correctly inserted into the pci slot
There might be another setting in the bios dealing with IRQ sharing but i have no idea. Any thoughts as to why i have no sound?
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R
Bios: GA-EX58-UD3R F6
CPU: E8400 OC to 3.81GHz
PSU: PC Power and Cooling 610watt
Sound: Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
Video: 8800 gt 512mb
Ram: 2GB
HDD: 750GB WD
OS: Windows 7 RC 32bit
