[SOLVED] Sound muting and unmuting rapidly and randomly.

The sound on my pc either keeps muting or rapidly mutes and unmutes.

I uninstalled sound drivers, it didnt work. I tried to reinstal realtek hd audio manager, it didnt work.

I decided to reinstall windows entirely, it didnt work.

I bought a new cpu psu motherboard and ram and ssd was due for an upgrade anyways), still not fixed!, even with a third fresh windows installation and a brand new ssd.

Any ideas?

Sounds like your cable is bad.
Are you using HDMI or 1/8 in plug.

Thanks for the reply, i am using a 1/8 connected to a 2.1 speaker system which has a dongle where the earphone are connected. The thing is, if i connect my earphones directly to the motherboard, i still get the issue. If i play out on the speakers, i still get the issue.

Hi, its not this for sure, since even using my mp3 earphones on the front audio port of my pc causes the same exact issue.
