Question Sound of PC Monitor's built-in speakers

Hi,
In my country unfortunately no one makes 24 inch FHD TVs anymore. My existing Philips FHD TV 24 inch which I purchased way back in 2012 has now after 10 years finally developed bad pixels and it’s time for a replacement.

The dilemma now is should I go for 24” HD Ready TV or use a FHD PC Monitor with speakers and Headphone out as a TV thing since I like FHD. I just like the feel of FHD when watching FHD channels on satellite TV. For my small room (11x10 feet), I do not want to go above 24”.

LG 24ML600S ( 5W speakers) & Acer Nitro VG240YS are some models under consideration.

The only concern is will speakers be loud enough for a small room at moderate volumes? Alternatively an external soundbar could be needed.

Does anyone have any idea how PC Monitor’s built-in speakers sound? Is using FHD monitor as a TV thing be good idea? Basic sound loud enough to be clearly heard from a distance of 7 - 8 feet is ok. I don't need anything HiFi!
There are very few models available with built-in speakers.

All PC monitor speakers that I have ever heard to put it bluntly just SUX.
