Hello i have a problem with my computer. Every 5-10 mins (less or more sometimes) the sound stops for 2-3 secs and then it continues. I can't explain it better. It firstly happened about a month ago while i was playing playeruknown battleground, from then till now it happens when i am listening to music or just watching a movie. I am watching the task manager if something uses too much cpu , ram or gpu and figure if thats the reason why it happens , but nothing , everything's normal. Any suggestions ?

use hdtune make sure your hard drive is good. if it failing it can be stalling causing the isssue. also try reinstalling the audio chipset driver for your mb. if your running to may programs and are runnning with 4g of ram you could be running out of ram casuing the stalls.

Can you list the parts in your system?

cpu:intel core i5-7500 3.4ghz
ram: 8bg corsair ddr4 (1x8bg)
gpu: gtx 1060 3gb palit gddr5
ssd: corsair force 250gb
motherboard: gigabyte b250m-ds3h-df

Are you listening to sound from speakers plugged into the audio jacks on your motherboard or from your monitor via HDMI?

From speakers, the song or the video is playing fine , only the sound stops for a few seconds , i plugged in the headphones to figure if the speakers were the problem , but same results.

1. Is the 250gb Corsair SSD your only drive?
2. Is it running out of free space?
3. Do you have Windows set to manage page file (virtual memory) automatically?
