So i built my new build installed Windows 7 and all the drivers. Everything worked fine but after 4 days the sound just simply stopped working and says "no speakers or headphones are plugged in". I tried almost everything like deleting drivers than reinstalling them, even reinstalled my OS.
Oh and i have an integrated sound card.

So my questions are:
1. If its a hardware thing than buying a sound card would solve it?
2. If its a software thing than what should i do?

Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS m5a97 r2.0
CPU: AMD fx 6350
GPU: Sapphire Radeon r7 250
(yea i know its old n' stuff but i kept it from my old build cuz im cheap 😛)

Sry for my bad english 😀

Solution
You can easily check with Asus if it still is under warranty. You need to provide the model and serial number. I presume that you can register it and then check warranty yourself.

Buying a sound card would help or i need a new motherboard?

I orderd it on amazon like
2 months ago from another user and i dont really know the amazon rules do you think i can RMA it still? And thanks for your responses this really helps me out 😀

If you plug the speakers / headphones in the back panel port, then try to the front one. If you still can't get the sound, then contact amazon or the seller, also check the return/replacement policies. I know, like newegg, they have 30 days return policies. If the MB is new, you can contact ASUS, but if is the used one, contact amazon or the seller only.
