Soundbar + separate fronts or sounbbar-like centre with fronts?

My problem is a TV & soundbar that are recessed between 2 bookcases & therefore has poor sound dispersion. Plus the room is not wire friendly. What I'd like is a soundbar (active speaker with self-contained amps) that acts as centre channel speaker only and additional, separate (wireless) front bookshelf speakers. No rears. Plus wireless sub.

Does such a thing exist or does anybody have any ideas how this could be achieved?

You need surround sound processing not just speakers (wireless or not) to get surround sound even for a 3.1 system
You may be able to use Sonos or Denon Heos wireless speakers to get what you want but I think they use the soundbar as all three front speakers. Check their websites.
It should be possible to run wires from an AVR to the TV and to three front speakers. Add a wireless subwoofer and you are done.
