This, my friends, is PC gaming. We laugh mercilessly in the pitiful face of console kiddies... With our wallets full and our hearts beaming proud, we shall march on boasting about the graphics of mainstream FPS while we secretly play the socks off the spectacular indie RPG market :D

Not original in the slightest, and not that well executed...

Source 2
Source has 6 letters
6/2 = 3
half life 3 confirmed.

There.

Yep. :p

You'll still be able to get the dark'n'moody effect with the new engine just fine - they're just showing brightly lit screens to show off the effects.

I am just super excited for 2.0. I want to see if they sell it like unreal does there's and see what other devs do with it. Oh..I guess i need to fit in with the joke too...soo...ummm.. 3*84= 252/6 =42/7 = 6/2 = 3Did...did I do it right?

I would not be surprised if Source 2.0 can measure up to Cry Engine 3 or UE4 easily. Source, when it came out, was the forefront of graphics. HL2 had, and still does, some of the most realistic faces ever. And to top it off, I bet it will, like Source, run on low end and high end hardware. But I am just salivating at that remake. The detail is just delicious. Do want L4D2 and TF2 on Source 2.0......

Yeah, I have no idea how in the world the Source engine is as good as it is, it blows me away. My wishlist, though, besides remakes, would definitely also including letting other game devs use the engine - imagine if other games could look that good!

Are you REALLY trying to say it's fake because it's too good? Come on, dude. xP Also, look at the foliage on the trees on the top - that's no painting. The fact that it fooled you that well, though? This engine is going to be awesome.

Agreed. If I had a nickel for every person with a decked out gaming rig who wet their pants in excitement over games like To The Moon... Makes me chuckle at the people who act like they're too good for a platform because of hardware limitations. Heck, I still play PC and console games from the 90's and have more fun with them than a lot of the buggy formulaic tech demos people call games these days.
