Samsung Magician migration software document states there should be 20% free space on the source drive when copying source disk to the new SSD. what if that is not the case? does the wizard provide options?

I'd check with their support, or try a full cloning software like clonezilla, you just need to make sure the new drive is same size or larger than the old one.
