Hi everyone,
I posted a question here a few weeks back about my graphics card just shutting off my pc all of a sudden and then not booting anymore. The PC boots fine without the GPU. So today I decided I would try to turn my pc on with my graphics card again to see if it miraculously has fixed itself. I normally have 2 ram sticks installed but this time I decided to try to boot with only a single stick. All of the fans started up and even the GPU fans started spinning and it seemed the pc was finally turning on. But 1 second in a spark came out of the board along with some smoke. As I saw this I instantly turned off the PSU and unplugged the PC from the wall. Now Im back at square 1 where the pc doesnt boot with the GPU, but it turns on without it. My question is does it mean something? Is my GPU actually not dead but something else in the build is wrong?
