Sparse Vsync in Far cry 4.

While playing Far cry 4 i noticed that there is no option for turning the vsync off or on.
There is only the normal mode and the sparse mode.Can anyone explain the difference between normal and sparse or how to disable the vsync in farcry 4.I have asus strix gtx 970 and a lcd 60Hz 720p monitor.

There is definitely an option to disable Vsync. Search through the graphics settings and you should find it.

OHh im so sorry i did not notice that.But still is it better for me to turn the vsync on or off and if on should i select normal or sparse.

I played Far Cry 4, and yes that option is there. Try to look in all of the display and graphics settings carefully .

I believe you just don't remember 😉

I found a nvidia forum where someone posted the two settings of Farcry 4

normal vsync = standard vsync
sparse vsync = adaptive vsync

I am using Sparse V-sync.

Actually, the guy in that thread confirms he looked in the wrong place to turn vsync off. It is a separate option and is not located where you choose sparse or normal vsync. I will bet you money on that. 110% certain you can turn it off.
