I have Geforce 780 in 3-Way SLI. One indoor speaker system plugs into green audio socket of computer.
I want to use the HDMI from my graphics card to plug into the HDMI (In) on my amplifier for outdoor speakers. I don't want to hear both indoors and outdoors at the same time. Will this program allow me to turn one speaker system off while listening to the other.

Solution
There is a way to do this, although not quite so simple as a little click of a button.

Your system has TWO audio output devices available - one built into the mobo, and another built into the video card. Windows can only use ONE audio output device at a time, but you get to specify which and can change that. Click Start ... Control Panel ... Sounds and Audio Devices, and choose the Audio tab of that window. In the top box called Sound Playback - Default Device you have a drop-down chooser. There you can select either one or the other of your output devices, then click OK at the bottom, and back out of Control Panel. When you want to, do this again and switch to the other output device that feeds the other speaker system.

THanks PaperDoc.
I will be hooking up the Amp when it arrives within the week. Looks like I have maybe eleven choices. I did see the default speaker highlighted. I was hoping to do just one click of a button. Thanks for the info.
