[SOLVED] Speakers Cut Out When We Stand Up?

We live on the 2nd floor of a 2-story apartment. Living space is carpeted where we have the issue.
We have a Samsung tv and Yamaha 5. 1 Theater System. All sound is routed through the theater system with HDMI... this issue happens regardless of input (cable, PlayStation, tv apps such as Netflix).

When we stand up from being seated in either the recliner or (one end of) our couch, the theater system temporarily cuts out (or mutes itself?) for a split second.

i would recheck cable connection one could be loose and vibration made it cut and mae sure the cable do not pass under carpet .

Remember to check power cables as well.

Do you hear any pops, cracks, or snaps?

We have checked all connections and none of our wiring runs under the carpet.

We do hear pops/cracks but only (very specifically) when watching cable and the commercials switch from national to local ads or vice versa.

i would take the cable and try to play with it could be a broken wire inside and made this .

Wondering if it could be a matter of incoming signal strength and some change depending on national or local....

Coax service - correct? Any unterminated cables, wall jacks, or splitters about?

And not just a dust cap.
