Question Speakers not working. All seems in order.

Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with my speakers.

• They are a JBL Bluetooth speaker, but I have them connected via USB and the green audio cable. However, no sound is coming out.
• I can see the volume icon on the bottom right and I can put the volume up or down, normally.
• I also went to the Audio Devices and can see the speaker fine, and the volume bar goes up and down as if sound is indeed coming out.

What I have tried:

• Tested the speaker, connected it to a cell phone and it worked ok. So, speakers are fully working.
• I also went to device manager and updated all audio drivers.
• I went to sound manager of the Realtek HD Audio Manager, went to Analog (green audio jack) and clicked on connector retasking and put ‘headphones’.

I made a new post because the solutions in the other posts did not work for me, which were mostly updating drivers.

I have Windows 10

You may want to test them without USB, some speakers won't work while they are charging.

Thank you for the advise. They have always worked with the cable, so its prob. not that. But nonetheless, tried without the cable and still, nothing.

Try another cable or another speaker with the computer to make sure the audio port is working on it's own.

did you try to configure your sound device in windows own sound control not Realtek manger

I fixed it. It was the back pc audio jack thats faulty. Thank you all
