Question Speakers not working. All seems in order.

Hello everyone,

I am having an issue with my speakers.
  • They are a JBL Bluetooth speaker, but I have them connected via USB and the green audio cable. However, no sound is coming out.
  • I can see the volume icon on the bottom right and I can put the volume up or down, normally.
  • I also went to the Audio Devices and can see the speaker fine, and the volume bar goes up and down as if sound is indeed coming out.

What I have tried:
  • Tested the speaker, connected it to a cell phone and it worked ok. So, speakers are fully working.
  • I also went to device manager and updated all audio drivers.
  • I went to sound manager of the Realtek HD Audio Manager, went to Analog (green audio jack) and clicked on connector retasking and put ‘headphones’.
I made a new post because the solutions in the other posts did not work for me, which were mostly updating drivers.

I have Windows 10

Thank you for the advise. They have always worked with the cable, so its prob. not that. But nonetheless, tried without the cable and still, nothing.
