Speakers suddenly stopped working correctly

I just moved my pc and the external speakers to my room. Back when it was in the living room the speakers worked fine. But when i tried listening to music after i had moved it the sound was really low. I did not changed any of the sound settings after i moved the computer, the speakers just stopped being loud.Usually i have the speakers on 20-25 volume but even at its max the sound is low and very hollow sounding.

Check the speakers themselves. One of them may have volume control on it (mine does) which you may have inadvertently turned when moving it.
