Hello, was hoping to get a few pointers on an issue I'm having with a particular WIFI connection.

I'm in an apartment where I have access to two WIFI signals that come from one connection.

The first: A wireless signal from a RouterA which is a hardwired connection from a RouterB
The second: A direct wireless signal from RouterB

I previously had no problem connecting to either of these WIFI signals on any computer

I then experimented with an ad hoc network between two comps CompA and CompB while still connected to the RouterB signal.

Now CompA & B cannot reconnect to to the direct wireless signal from RouterB

I can connect to the RouterB signal on a CompC which was not involved in my ad hoc attempts.
CompA and CompB can connect to the wifi signal from RouterA (which comes from Router B)

I hope that is clear - ish. I am guessing there is some corruption of an address somewhere. RouterB has been rebooted as have the comps I have also released and renewed the IP's at the cmd prompt all to no avail.

It see the signal but just cannot connect. Troubleshooting through windows offers no solution or hints as to the problem as far as I can see

Anyone have any suggestions?

So if anyone else has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.

I'm confident the issue is not with the router, or the computer wireless hardware.

Some setting common to both comps must have been auto altered during the ad hoc set up which now prevents either of those comps connecting to the signal they previously had no problem connecting to.

Like I said, I cleared and renewed the IP's via the command prompt and have deleted and reinstated the actual wireless connection all to no avail
