Every time I install a new program in Windows 10, I go to click the shortcut in the start menu or the desktop and I get an error that says the specified path does not exist. To get it to open I must right click>properties> and delete (x86) from the target location, then it will open. Why does this happen? How can I fix it to make my programs open without having to change the target location every time?

Sounds like you're installing 32bit programs in Program Files rather than Program Files x86. The easiest way to avoid issues is to stop installing 32bit programs in the regular Program Files and instead load them into Program Files x86
