Hello everyone, I need some specs for a gaming PC under $3000. I would like to play Battlefield 4, Payday 2, Arma III, Watch_Dogs and GTA V on it. I would like to run these games in 4K resolution, 60 fps +, and Ultra settings. My budget is $3000.

Thanks,
PilzFTW

I'd go Joeteoh99s way, xept I'd use Mushkin Chronos Deluxe SSD two drives for OS, in raid0, for storage I'd go for WD Red Pro 2 x raid1 3-4 TB, and I think two Strix 970 will do just fine. Switch Corsair cooling for NH-D15, and memory for G.Skill Ripjaws, PSU I'd take Seasonic Platinum [they should be the top choice whatsoever].

I don't think two GTX 970s would do on a 4K monitor. I'd rather have three of them. Also, H110 is much better cooler than NH-D1. EVGAs G2 or P2 models are on Tier 1 as well. They're really good PSUs and almost recieved a perfect score on JonnyGuru. These PSUs can compete with Seasonics highest models at a lower cost. On the other hand, I really like your idea on the storage devices.

EDIT

What I MEANT was, I don't think two GTX 970s would play those games on high - ultra settings. At least with three GTX 970s, It would be enough to put some games to the ultra threshold and sustain a pretty sweet 60+ FPS. Know what I'm saying?
