Hello, I am planning on building an ultimate gaming machine that will be able to run games at max settings for years to come. I've done a lot of research and here's what I've come up with:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo)

Video Card: Sapphire Vapor-X HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB

RAM: Corsair Vengence 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA115 Intel

Power Supply: Rosewill Tachyon-750 750W

Hard Drive: Seagate SV35 Series 1TB Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Optical Drive: ASUS 24X DVD Burner

Case: Rosewill CHALLENGER-U3 Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

OS: Windows 8 64-bit OEM

Peripherals:

Monitor: ASUS VE248H 24" Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/built in speakers

Keyboard: RAZER DeathStalker RZ03-00800100

Mouse: I already have one(standard not gaming)

I also want to record my gaming footage, are these good for that?:

TV Tuner(to record it): Haapauge WinTV HVR-1250 Hybrid TV Tuner w/ Video Recorder

Recording my console: Usb 2.0 Video and Audio Capture Creator

To edit the videos: SONY Movie Studio 11

QUESTIONS: (these are the things that i want to know most)

Are all of these compatible?

BIG NOTE: I plan on putting another vapor-x video card in x-fire mode in a few years. Should I do that or get a better video card up front? Do I need a bigger motherboard if I go x-fire, I have heard that i might.

Is this good enough for me to be able to play games on Max settings for years to come, especially with the next-gen games? (The Most graphically intense games out there like bf4(when it comes out) the next cod, fc3, bioshock, crysis 3, and every other new game for years to come)

Should I go i7 instead of i5? (I heard that I dont need to, but i do plan on maxing out these games)

Should I get an SSD?

Is my 850w power supply strong enough to handle all of this? (possible x-fire or monster video card)

Will these parts fit into my case and still have room to breathe? (cooling wise)

Nvidia or stick with AMD?

Is there anything that I should improve on? (please keep in mind that this build is $1,815 so far)

Are there any other things that I need?

Is my monitor good enough for my Video Card? (Monitor: 1920x1080)

Thank You!

OK but is it worth it for those games? will bootup and loading times be noticably faster? And what case should i get?

Ok thanks ill go with the 410 and how big of a ssd should i get for just windows 8 64bit OEM?

Also, would it be a significant upgrade if i went i7 3770k instead of i5 3570k? and is this good for game capture Hauppauge HD PVR2 Gaming Edition? I want to record this new pc and my 360

It would make essentially no difference to your gaming performance to use a i7-3770k. There are a small number of games which support Hyperthreading, and so benefit from the i7, but they are few and far between.
I can't speak to the quality of that capture card, I'm afraid. I use software to record.

Ok thanks, by the way what software do you use?

I use XSplit. I don't believe that it works for capturing video from a console, however.

Ok thanks ill look into that software. Do you record gaming footage on it, cab you record audio, is it lag free?

I should, perhaps, explain the full detail of my situation: I own (and plan to use) XSplit for streaming, but due to technical difficulties (not associated with XSplit) I have been unable to use it. XSplit is a streaming software, though I believe it may be able to record (this has yet to come up for me, due to said technical difficulties). My apologies if I gave the impression of being more expert than I was, on that subject. I am quite new to recording.

It's ok, i've heard that recording can be a lot more complicated than it seems.

BTW will my i5 3570k be able to max out games, and for about how long? Should i just go i7 3770k up front? Also, do you know about this recording gear Hauppauge HD PVR2 Gaming Edition?

Oh, and should i get 8gb or 16gb of RAM in terms of gaming performance and longevity. I am looking at the Corsair Vengeance series, is there a better series to use?

Also ive been reading some other forums to and people are xfiring for the next games (bf4,cod ghosts, ac4, etc.) and i was wondering if i needed to as well. I'm only playing on a single 1920x180 monitor, so will i need to xfire. I do want to max out those games. People are xfiring 670s and 7970s. What should i do?

BTW do you know which RAM I should choose? 8gb or 16gb, Corsair Vengeance or other?

And with the upcoming bf4 game, would i need to go xfire or 7990, or nvidia competitors, in order to max it at 60 fps at 1080p?

8GB of Corsair Vengeance Low Profile is most optimal.

We don't know the requirements of the next Battlefield yet. It may well be possible to run it on a single 7970 at max, but we really don't know. If you are choosing between CrossFire and the 7990, however, always go CrossFire. It is simply more powerful for less cost.

Ok thanks. And what's your opion on the RAM?

My opinion is right there. In that very comment. 8 GB of Corsair Vengeance Low Profile.

Ok thanks

My pleasure.
